Process Mapping Expert (Consultant)
Objective:
The consultant will execute the development and documentation of process maps to support ISO 9001 certification efforts for clients. He/she will assess existing processes, identify gaps, and create detailed process maps that align with ISO 9001 requirements.
Scope of Work:
The consultant will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Identify Key Processes: Determine and prioritize critical processes within USAID, Program Office (PRO).
- Create Process Maps: Develop clear, comprehensive process maps that depict current workflows, inputs, outputs, and interactions.
- Analyze Process Efficiency: Evaluate existing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Documentation: Ensure all process maps are documented in accordance with ISO 9001 standards, including necessary supporting information.
- Process Mapping Report including:
- List of identified key processes
- Comprehensive process maps for each identified process
- Analysis of process efficiency and effectiveness
- Documentation compliant with ISO 9001 standards
- Final Report: Based on client requirements.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience in process mapping, Quality Management Systems, ISO Standards or related fields.
- Certification in ISO 9001.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Previous USAID/international donor experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- The consultant will report to the Director of Organizational Transformation at Kaizen who is based in Addis Ababa.
