The Kaizen Company is seeking applications for the contract position of Technical Lead-Education Data Modeling for the USAID-funded Pre-Service Teacher Education in Jordan (PRESTIJ). This role can be carried out remotely with occasional trips to Jordan or can be held by someone residing in Jordan.
The PRESTIJ project seeks to increase the preparedness of future Grade 4-10 teachers by improving the system of pre-service teacher education. The project will expand and improve the pre-service teacher education programming offered by Jordanian universities, centered primarily around the implementation of the adapted Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) pre-service teacher education modules. By supporting a total of four geographically diverse universities and relevant Government of Jordan (GoJ) entities to implement the high-quality QRTA model or an alternative model, and by providing responsive technical assistance to the GoJ to advance essential pre-service teacher education reforms more broadly, the five-year PRESTIJ contract will achieve its mission to increase the number of quality teachers in Jordan.
