Scope and Objectives

The Kaizen Company is seeking a Finance and Human Resource Assistant for USAID/Pakistan Training for Pakistan III (TFP III) activity. The TFP III Project provides participant training for capacity development to USAID/Pakistan's implementing partners, grantees, government partners, and mission staff. The Finance and Human Resource Assistant is responsible for supporting and maintaining financial management and accounting control systems for the project. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in finance, administrative, and operational management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of USAID project cycle, agency policies, regulations and reporting requirements for financial management
  • Proficiency in writing and editing
  • Fluency in English 
  • Open to the cooperating country nationals


  • Coordinate financial planning and support the Finance Manager in providing regular, monthly financial analysis of project spending
  • Responsible for day-to-day financial management and bookkeeping, accounts payable, payroll, vacation tracking, petty cash, cash flow requests, tax filings, and audit support
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation
  • Prepare monthly field office expense reports
  • Schedule regular and ad hoc meetings, including reserving conference rooms or other appropriate facilities, preparing agendas, notifying participants, setting up equipment and assembling background and informational materials
  • Coordinate and schedule updates for project stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with USAID, U.S. government, and Kaizen accounting and finance systems
