Scope and Objectives
In cooperation with Save the Children, the Kaizen Company is supporting the Implementer-led Design, Evidence, And Learning (IDEAL) activity, a USAID initiative that will increase the capacity of Food for Peace (FFP) implementing partners worldwide to design and implement effective emergency and development food security activities. IDEAL will support FFP’s capacity strengthening efforts by developing and sharing food security best practices, while introducing new organizational strengthening, knowledge management, and learning tools.
Kaizen is currently seeking an Organizational Development Coordinator to support the IDEAL Organizational Development Manager in utilizing Kaizen’s proprietary Organizational Self-Assessment and Transformation Program (OSTP) to assist FFP implementing partners to gather, analyze, and communicate data regarding performance. S/he will support training and activity planning for FFP implementing partners in order to carry out solutions identified during the self-assessment phase.
The Organization Development Coordinator will be based in Washington, DC, and will provide support to field-based FFP implementing partners, likely with travel opportunities to facilitate association discussions and support capacity strengthening activities undertaken by partner organizations based in FFP countries worldwide.
The Organizational Development Coordinator is a will provide the opportunity to work with a range of USAID implementing partners while building their own capacity to lead capacity building efforts.
