The Kaizen Company is an incubator for innovative, scalable solutions that address emerging market challenges and opportunities. Our proven solutions catalyze locally-driven, organizational, and institutional performance improvements, and shift the development model into one that is bottom-up and ongoing. We leverage existing knowledge along with new technologies and innovative business models to support local reform that is sustained through market forces.
The Kaizen Company is seeking to hire two short-term Consultant positions for the USAID-funded New Partnerships Initiative (NPI) Incubator (Partnerships Incubator).
About the Partnerships Incubator
The USAID/New Partnerships Initiative (NPI) Incubator is designed to target the combined skills, innovation, networks, relationships, and resources of an expanded and diversified partner base. Currently, 75 implementing partners deploy approximately 80% of USAID’s obligations. Expanding USAID’s partner base will bring increased innovation, cost-efficiency, and development impact – which translates to greater effectiveness for USAID programming and faster and more sustainable progress for partner countries on their journey to self-reliance. USAID seeks to partner with new and underutilized local and locally established organizations, including faith-based, community, and civil society groups but recognizes that there may be barriers to successful collaboration. With the support of the Partnerships Incubator, USAID will inform and equip potential partners to more effectively design and implement successful development programs.
The Consultant will work closely with the Incubator Internal Services Director and other team members to deliver a sectoral landscape analysis (market research). The Consultant will be responsible for researching, compiling, analyzing, and reporting on a range of organizations across potential sectors in a particular country of focus. The Consultant will ensure that final work products are error-free, consistent, and accurate. The position is up to 100 hours/person.
