The Kaizen Company is seeking candidates to work on USAID Global Health Security (GHS) programs. These programs strengthen countries’ capacities to reduce the risk and impact of zoonotic disease threats that are of the greatest public health concern. The program emphasizes systems strengthening at national and subnational levels and in multiple sectors for preparedness through support in laboratory systems; surveillance; workforce/human resources; risk communications and community engagement; supply chain and related countermeasures. GHS embraces the One Health approach, recognizing the critical role that wildlife, livestock, other domestic animals, and environment play in emerging zoonotic diseases with pandemic and antimicrobial resistance potential. Identifying and minimizing zoonotic disease risks at their source in animals and a comprehensive approach to antimicrobial resistance that includes the human, livestock, agriculture, and environment sectors are essential components of USAID’s contribution to GHS.

Kaizen is seeking technical experts with experience in:
- Designing and implementing programs to detect, mitigate, control and prevent infectious diseases
-Integrating pandemic preparedness programs across primary health care, subnational, national and regional health systems.
-Using the Joint External Evaluation (JEE) tool for assessments and its outputs for conceptualizing country activities that can respond to assessment findings
-Working with the Global Health Security Agenda Action Packages and International health regulations
-Working across multiple Ministries and stakeholder groups to effectively coordinate and implement multi-sectoral interventions.

Please include your expertise and countries/regions of experience (as stated above) in your resume.
